Amid the confinement caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, I recorded the original music for the Aqua II video. The theme music title is Lario after Lago di Como (Lake Como) and one of the main characters in my novel, The Poor and Wise Old Man. I hope this music may bring peace and solace to all those who listen to it in these times of uncertainty that we are currently going through as humanity.
I am grateful to the musicians who joined me in this project: Guitarist Michael Dowdle and drummer Todd Sorensen, old collaborators, and a new finding, violinist Oleg Bezuglov, who added his remarkable touch.
It is with great joy that I release Aqua II today, hoping you will enjoy and be inspired while watching and listening to some of the Beauties of Life that I have captured for you.

Unlike the previous two videos from the series with soundtracks from songs of my album The Giant Trees, for Montagna II I wanted original music. The first approach was to record some simple background music that could accompany the scenery. Last January, while seating in front of the computer monitor and the piano, the melody you will hear came out spontaneously. Then, I realised there was more potential to it, and instead of releasing the new video right away, I decided to bring in more instruments. Broc Campbell kindly joined in the efforts playing acoustic and electric guitars.
Today, it is with great joy that I release Montagna II, hoping you will enjoy and be inspired while watching and listening to some of the Beauties of Life that I managed to capture.
